US Customs Starts releasing Chinese Customs Culture Minery after regulatory holdup

According to recent reports, the United States customs and border security have begun to issue some shipments after thousands of Chinese -made bitcoin mining rigs are detained for months.

Talking to Reuters, Synteq Digital CEO Taras Kulik exposure “Thousands of units have been issued” after seizing more than 10,000 miners at various American ports.

According to him, taking these rigs into custody was a deliberate step from the CBP who was run by the authorities who “did not like bitcoin mining” and wanted to make things difficult for the industry.

The entire situation is associated with increasing American-China tension, especially on semiconductor technology. Bitman’s Antminer Rigs got stuck in the mess after his chip supplier, Sofgo, landed in hot water with the US Department of Commerce.

Last October, the authorities flagged off some chips related to Sophgo inside the Huawei AI processor, increasing Huawei’s long -term alarm given the alarm.

Even though Sofgo refused to have any relationship with Huawei, the Federal Communications Commission pushed for recovery, claiming the antminer models – especially S21 and T21 – can violate American rules.

However, only a small part of the detained miners has been cleaned so far. Ethan Vera, COO of Luxor Technology, stated that reports are true, but only one “minority” of shipment is actually released.

According to Vera, the authorities expressed concern about radio frequency emissions from mining rigs. Last month, Crypto.News reported that CBP had expanded its preventives to include mining leakage from other Chinese manufacturers, citing similar compliance issues.

However, both Vera and Kulik described these claims as baseless.

This development comes when the US government is banning sugar imports, President Donald Trump’s administration has imposed a 10% tariff on Chinese imports.

In response to these ongoing trade barriers, Bitman is working to ignore the delay by expanding its production line in the US.
