The Meme Coin Locnpad, hosted on Pond.fun, Linea, is hacked by the project’s main software engineer.
Pondy Official disclosure on XPond. Fun has been hacked this morning, with the initial on-chain and off-chain proof, pointing to a software engineer on Pond. The platform asked users to avoid interacting with the pond in any capacity, including the affrogues and the croc website, but assured that the discords and telegram are still safe.
The attacker stole liquidity from the pond. The platform published a list of mennet addresses, which obtained and submitted the stolen property. The total amount transferred was 64.8 Etharium (ETH).
Pond.fun has tapped the channelsis and elliptical, blockchain analytics firms that track illegal crypto transactions, to help prevent the stolen funds from passing evidence of innocence – some centralized exchanges and other “serious” offramps need to provide POIs under the railway. The failure in the PAS POI check will ensure that the hacker cannot withdraw funds from the railway gun.
The situation echoes the recent hack of Stabelcoin Bank Infini as it was also done by an internal formula. In particular, the developer who helped establish a smart contract, maintained administrator rights and then used these rights to withdraw funds through tornado cash (torn). Infini is still working to recover the theft property. Hack started about $ 50 million from Infini’s wallet and was identified by Carter as the second biggest disadvantage in February.
