Betwise Partners with Maple Finance to enter on-chant credit market

Bitwaiz Asset Management has allocated its first institutional DEFI through Maple Finance, which marks a step in the on-chant credit markets.

The aim of the partnership is to provide institutional investors with yield-generating, transparent and structured lending opportunities.

This allocation highlights changes in institutional capital beyond traditional fixed income products. Maple finance, which specializes in on-chain credit, provides an obedient infrastructure for digital asset-backed lending, according to the note shared with Crypto.

By integrating the maple’s on-chain lending solutions, the purpose of bitwaiz is to diversify its crypto-original investment strategies, maintaining institutional risk and regulatory standards.

Traditional financial institutions enter Defi

Bitwaiz’s investment follows wide institutional interest in DEFI credit markets. The firms looking for alternative produce sources are rapidly turning to on-chain lending, which enables real-time risk evaluation and immediate disposal.

Maple, which currently manages more than $ 620 million in the total value locked, has given more and more loans to its lending model, which prefer overcollated loans, going away from undercolateral lending due to market risks.

Beyond its main borrowing platform, Maple has introduced structured financial products to suit institutional investors. In January, it launched a “Land + Long” product, which combines high-u-uz lends with bitcoin option strategies.

The protocol also launched the Maple Direct in 2023, a direct lending hand catering for institutional borrowers.

Bitwaiz, which manages $ 12 billion in client assets, is expanding its product lineup to offer diverse crypto investment solutions.

The firm has recently filed for several crypto-based ETFs and raised $ 70 million in the funding round supported by major investors.

Its allocation for on-chant credits through maple indicates a comprehensive tendency to adopt institutional adoption of DEFI lending markets as an alternative to traditional fixed income investments.
