Uniswap Lab officially releases V4

Uniswap V4 has officially launched several blockchain networks, with swapping features for all users in the coming days.

Uniswap Labs, unit behind the decentralized exchange Uniswap, announced that its fourth generation protocol is now Available For public access. Upgrade developers introduce reforms to the operation and on-chain liquidity.

According to a company’s blog post, UNISWAP V4 is live on Ethereum, Polygon, Artrum, OP Mainnet, Ban, BNB chain, blast, world chain, Allanche and Zora network till 31 January.

The firm initially planned to roll out V4 last year. However, the protocol code was delayed due to security and extensive code audit to ensure several hackathon to test. In addition, the team audited the V4 code nine times and even released a $ 15.5 million bug bounty to solve any gendering architecture concerns.

Two of the most important upgrades in Uniswap V4 are the beginning of “hooks” and single -to -single liquidity design. The hook, in particular, when the V4 was announced, attracted attention, as the upgrade promised to convert Uniswap into a developer-centric decently decentralized application.

Labs has described hooks as blockchain contracts constructed to allow custom architecture for liquidity pool, on-chain swap and crypto fees. Hook goes in hand-in-hand with single single liquidity framework, which mixes uniswap liquidity in the same smart contract.

Uniswap Engineers said that new liquidity architecture should be able to improve cheap transactions and rapid swap to improve better user experience.

More than 150 hooks have already developed, offering everything from dynamic fees to automatic liquidity management. By allowing developers to be constructed and used directly on top of the protocol, hooks enable rapid growth cycles and viscous integration.
