The US customs and border security are continuing their seizure of bitcoin mining devices at American ports.
ASIC miners are allegedly being detained at American ports of admission at the request of the Federal Communications Commission. According to documents Review of By blockspace and sources familiar to the case, the agency has expanded its custody efforts to include microbe and Canaan units.
The latest seizures increase the previous work of CBP against Antminer S21 and T21 units, which was allegedly detained from AI chips from the supplier Sochgo, a business-affected supplier. Now, the agency is also seizing Bitman units for the first time after the previous decline.
An affected source reported losing $ 5 million equipment.
